Dog About Town: Checking Out the Latest Toys and Treats and More Things to Do

Pets and their people are invited to shop, learn and play this weekend at Dallas Market Hall. In addition to exhibitors, speakers and demos, the Dallas Pet Expo will feature contests (kissing at 12:15 p.m., talent at 1:15, musical chairs at 3:15, costume at 4:15), lure and agility courses, free nail trims and giveaways. The guest list also includes area rescue groups and authors reading and signing their books. Fixed leashes and proof of rabies vaccination are required (a tag will work). Discounted vaccinations will be available. Attendees must sign a waiver; you can avoid waiting in line by filling it out in advance (available at the website).
