DeSoto Police Investigating Domestic Disturbance That Left Man With Gunshot Wound

DeSoto police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured Monday night in what investigators say was a domestic disturbance.Police found the victim bleeding from the abdomen with a gunshot wound around 11:10 p.m. in the 600 block of Rain Lily Drive.The man told police he had been shot by his wife, who was still inside the home. The woman was detained without incident and a handgun was recovered, police said.The injured man was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
