Denton ISD Admin Who Published Children’s Book of Pepe the Frog Says He Didn’t Know It Was an Alt-right Symbol

A Denton ISD administrator who self-published a children's book featuring Pepe the Frog says he didn't know the character was an alt-right symbol until after the book came out.Eric Hauser is assistant principal of the new Rodriguez Middle School in Oak Point, which is slated to open for students on Wednesday.
