Denton County Sex Offender Who Admitted to Raping Child Is at Large After Skipping Court Hearing

Denton County authorities are looking for a convicted sex offender who skipped a court date last month.Mickey Lynn White, 59, of Hickory Creek has been at large since failing to appear at an April 28 hearing, according to the Denton County Sheriff's Department.Lynn agreed to a plea deal three years ago on one count of sexual assault of a child in a 2013 case involving a 16-year-old girl. As part of the deal, two other counts of sexual assault of a child were dismissed, he was sentenced to seven years of community sentence and the judge deferred his conviction.Authorities moved to revoke White's probation and find him guilty on the sexual-assault charge after his arrest in December on a count of invasive visual recording in a bathroom or changing room. He posted $10,000 bond at the time, and $150,000 bond in February after authorities raised his bail.Details about that case were not available.Authorities described White as a white man who is 5-7 and about 180 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
