Deadly Jump From Jim Miller Road Shuts Down I-30 for Hours Overnight

Interstate 30 was shut down for hours overnight in East Dallas after someone jumped from an overpass and was struck by a passing vehicle.The fatal crash was reported about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on the eastbound highway at Jim Miller Road. Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene after a tow truck struck the victim, who had reportedly jumped from the overpass at Jim Miller.The unidentified victim died at the scene.
