Here are some stories you may have missed today.Students protest, businesses close for 'A Day Without Immigrants' strike "Un Dia Sin Immigrantes" or "A Day Without Immigrants" isn't taking protest to the streets, but instead is making its point that immigrants are vital to U.S. life by shutting Latino-owned businesses for a day and workers choosing to strike. In the Dallas area, nearly 50 businesses closed their doors. Supermarkets, restaurants, furniture stores and insurance companies are some of the businesses that are participating in the event.
