Damaged Manhole Leaks Raw Sewage Into Garland Creek at 20 Gallons a Minute

The Garland Health Department is monitoring water quality in Spring Creek after a sewer overflowed Tuesday morning, dumping thousands of gallons of raw sewage into the waterway. The spill was reported just after 11:30 a.m. when a work crew damaged a manhole near North Garland Avenue and Arapaho Road, according to officials with Garland Water Utilities.  Continue reading...
