Dallas Woman Arrested on Murder Charge 4 Years After Fatal Shooting in East Texas

A Dallas woman was arrested on a murder charge last week, more than four years after authorities say she was involved in the shooting death of an East Texas man.Latoddra Quenice Pratt, 24, was booked into the Dallas County jail Thursday afternoon. She was transferred into the custody of Gregg County deputies Tuesday morning, Dallas County sheriff's spokesman Raul Reyna said, and her bail is set at $500,000.Authorities say Pratt took part in the fatal shooting of Tyson Patterson during the early-morning hours of Aug. 28, 2014. A second man, identified by police as Kendrick Gray, was wounded.The shooting took place just before 4 a.m. at an apartment building in the 100 block of Garfield Drive. Neighbors reported being awoken by gunfire.Lisa Rodney, who shared a wall with the apartment, told KLTV-TV that it sounded like "a lot of 'pow pow pow.'"Patterson, who did not live at that address, died at the scene.  Continue reading...
