Dallas SWAT Team Involved in Standoff in South Dallas

This breaking news story is being updated continuously.Dallas SWAT officers were involved in a standoff in South Dallas on Tuesday afternoon.Officers were serving a warrant in the 2700 block of Lenway Street, near South Malcolm X Boulevard, around 3:30 p.m. when a person barricaded him- or herself inside a home, police told KXAS-TV (NBC5).Multiple media outlets have reported that shots were fired when officers were on the scene.
