It's time for gardeners to get their noses out of the seed catalogs and into the seeds, and the Dallas Public Library is a good place to start. The central library downtown launched a seed library in 2017, then expanded to the Martin Luther King Branch Library last year. On Feb. 16, the library system is launching a new neighborhood exchange at the Lakewood Branch Library with an event from 2 to 5 p.m. Gardeners and would-be green thumbs can find herb, vegetable and flower seeds while mingling with like-minded community members.
