Dallas Police Searching for Driver Who Injured Woman in Red Bird Area Hit-and-run

Dallas police are searching for a driver who left a woman with a broken leg after a hit-and-run last month in the Red Bird area of southern Dallas.Sally McMullin was trying to cross the 3500 block of West Wheatland Road on June 13 when she was struck by the suspect, who had turned east onto Wheatland from West Virginia Drive, police said.The suspect fled in what police describe as possibly a maroon Chevrolet or GMC SUV with gray pinstripes on the front hood.No physical description of the suspect is available.
