Dallas Police Looking for Gunman After Woman Is Fatally Shot at Pleasant Grove Apartment

Dallas police are looking for a man they say killed a woman at her Pleasant Grove apartment last week and then stole her purse.Authorities obtained a capital murder warrant Sunday for 26-year-old Thomas Lucas Daniel.Officers were called to the Crawford Park apartments in the 1100 block of North Masters Road early Friday and found Barbara Berry, 58, dead in her living room. She had been shot once, and a single shell casing was found near her body, an arrest-warrant affidavit says.Police also said her purse was not inside the unit.One witness told detectives that there had been a gunshot inside Berry's apartment and then two men — one of whom the witness knew as "Tony" and who occasionally stayed with Berry — left the apartment, according to the affidavit.  Continue reading...
