Dallas Police Investigate Second Murder in a Month on Buckner Terrace Block

Dallas police are looking for the person who shot a 30-year-old man in Buckner Terrace on Friday. It was the second murder on the same block in a month.About 7:50 a.m., officers found Dequincey Williams unresponsive in the grassy area of the 8000 block of Rothington Road near South Buckner Boulevard.Williams was shot in the back, police said. Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced him dead about 7:55 a.m.Police haven't made any arrests yet, and they're asking the public to help them solve the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Dallas police homicide unit at 214-671-3661.On April 8, police investigated the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Ophfesious Fields Jr. in the same block of Rothington. Police said Fields was with several people when 19-year-old Ronny Nikile Robinson pointed a gun on him, shot him and took his book bag.Robinson was arrested on a murder charge 10 days later.  Continue reading...
