Dallas Police Investigate 3 Armed Robberies Overnight in Oak Cliff

Dallas police are investigating three armed robberies that occurred overnight in Oak Cliff. It's currently unclear if the incidents, which happened within a few miles of each other early Friday morning, are related. The following information is from police:- About midnight at a Walgreens in the 1300 block of North Beckley Avenue, employees said two suspects pointed weapons at them and demanded money. The suspects took the cash and fled in an unknown direction. - About 1 a.m. in the 2300 block of Britton Avenue, two suspects got out of a gray SUV and approached a 24-year-old woman, she told police. One suspect pointed a handgun at her and demanded property, which they took before fleeing on Illinois Avenue. - Just after 1:45 a.m. in the 700 block of Melba Street, three suspects kicked in the rear door of a house and entered, the resident told police. He said the suspects pointed weapons at him and demanded property. They took the property and fled.
