Thom Jackson is a fashion photographer par excellence. His latest show is "Palm Springs 1990," which opens April 10 and runs through May 3 at Craighead Green Gallery on Dragon Street in the Dallas Design District. Jackson snapped the photos while on assignment for American Airlines in 1990. The project featured vintage swimsuits on location in and around the exotic desert burg of Palm Springs, Calif. Jackson says he was tasked with capturing "the classic feel of Palm Springs." The locations that made the photographs so special are, he says, "iconic or no longer exist." Continue reading...
