Dallas Morning News Charities Drive Raises $1.25 Million

This year's Dallas Morning News Charities campaign raised slightly more than last year's drive, bringing in more than $1.25 million from roughly 1,550 donors to aid North Texans who are hungry, homeless and unemployed. The annual drive, which began in November at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas and ended Wednesday, marked more than three decades of raising money for local charities.
