Dallas Might Not Need to Send Garbage Trucks to Harvey-ravaged Houston After All

Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings said Wednesday the city might not need to send garbage trucks to Houston after all.Rawlings told his fellow City Council members that his Houston counterpart, Sylvester Turner, told him that the private sector there has stepped up and that Dallas' help isn't needed for now. That means bulky trash pickup in Dallas will begin as scheduled Monday.Residents can set out their bulk trash and brush beginning Thursday and as late as 7 a.m. Monday."We will not be interrupting services to our citizens the way we talked about earlier," Rawlings said.
