Dallas Man Wanted on Child-indecency Warrant Caught Crossing Into Country From Mexico

A man wanted in Dallas County on a charge of indecency with a child was arrested last week crossing into the country from Mexico.Jesse Mendoza, 23, was apprehended in Donna, just east of McAllen, on Thursday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported.Customs officers at the Donna International Crossing checked the Dallas resident's fingerprints after his name matched an outstanding warrant and determined he was the wanted man. He was then turned over to Donna police.Mendoza was being held Wednesday at the Dallas County Jail on a charge of indecency with a child by sexual contact.
