A Dallas ISD employee was attacked at a middle school campus Tuesday evening, a district spokeswoman said. Robyn Harris, a district spokeswoman, said the employee, who has not been identified, was attacked outside J.L. Long Middle School around 7 p.m. The employee was treated for non life-threatening injuries. Police said the attacker was dressed in army fatigues and armed with a handgun, according to WFAA-TV (Channel 8). The employee was able to get away and call police, who used a helicopter to search for the attacker, but were unable to find him. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dallas ISD police.
