Dallas-Fort Worth Will Be Chilly and Rainy Tuesday — But Not Cold Enough for Snow

Temperatures in Dallas-Fort Worth will flirt with freezing Tuesday, but they aren't expected to drop enough to produce any wintry precipitation.A storm system is expected to move through the region Tuesday, but with temperatures in the mid-30s most of the day, only a cold rain is in the local forecast, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5) weather anchor Keisha Burns.“A few spotty showers [will be] popping up in the morning, becoming more widespread as the day progresses,” she said.Overall, Dallas-Fort Worth could pick up a quarter of an inch to half an inch of rain Tuesday, but areas to the southwest could record as much as 2 inches, Burns said.  Continue reading...
