Dallas-Fort Worth Takes Top Spot Among U.S. Cities Where Millennials Like to Live

Dallas-Fort Worth was ranked the third highest-rated metro among American cities most worth living in for millennials, according to a new comprehensive study of major U.S. metro areas.With millennials now comprising the largest portion of the American labor force, it's only become more important in recent years for employers and cities to understand exactly where and why the demographic is choosing to settle down.The study, performed by research groups Langston Co. and Centiment, took into account more than 40 different elements of city living and analyzed more than 125,000 data points. The survey is comprised of feedback from nearly 3,000 "highly reliable" millennial respondents from 22 major U.S. metros.Study participants were asked to provide satisfaction ratings for multiple factors ranging from employment opportunities to cost of living, taxes and even cleanliness."These results are exciting because they are based on information collected directly from the actual residents in these cities," said The Langston Co. founding partner, Tom Anderson.Three Texas cities took top spots in terms of offering the best value to millennial residents with D-FW ranking third just behind Houston and Atlanta.  Continue reading...
