Convenience store supplier Core-Mark announced last fall that it would be leaving its longtime corporate home in California for one of Dallas-Fort Worth's business meccas.On Wednesday, the Fortune 500 company made it official -- selecting May 18 as the date its corporate masthead changes to Westlake, Texas."This move is expected to improve efficiency, cost-competitiveness, and collaboration, while providing employees with an exceptional work environment," the company said in a statement that accompanied its first quarter results.The 131-year-old company leased 25,000 square feet in the landmark Solana business park in Westlake to house roughly 100 workers, about half of whom will be newly hired North Texans.
