Dallas-Fort Worth May Soon Land More American Airlines Flight Attendants

American Airlines is asking more than 700 Phoenix-based flight attendants to relocate to other airport hubs and some will likely land in Dallas-Fort Worth, according to a USA Today report.The Arizona flight attendants are being asked to move to other airports to improve the airline's efficiency and fill staffing gaps. The announcement comes after the recent integration of the flight attendant scheduling systems of American Airlines and the former US Airways, the report said. American Airlines and US Airways merged in 2013, but their scheduling systems remained separate for years, USA Today reported. The separate systems restricted flight attendants to the aircraft of their legacy airlines and kept them from transferring to other airport hubs.
