Dallas-Fort Worth M&A: Primoris and U.S. Concrete Are Buyers, Lauck Group Sells

Dallas-based RSP Permian's eye-popping sale price got most of the attention, but other North Texas companies were also busy this week in the mergers and acquisitions space.A handful of deals were announced, including:Primoris Services Corp., a Dallas-based specialty construction and infrastructure firm, bought Houston-based Willbros Group in an all-cash deal with an enterprise value of $100 million. Willbros, which designs and builds infrastructure for the oil, gas and power industries, will become a subsidiary of Primoris when the deal closes in the second quarter. Primoris expects the acquisition to generate an additional $660 million in revenue in the first year.U.S. Concrete Inc., a Euless-based supplier of ready-mixed and aggregate products to the construction industry, expanded its presence in the Philadelphia market by acquiring a concrete plant north of the city. The plant will be integrated into U.S. Concrete's existing Action Supply Co. Inc. operations in Philadelphia. Perkins+Will, a global architecture firm with a Dallas office, purchased Dallas-based interior design firm Lauck Group. Lauck Group specializes in corporate interiors and has offices in Dallas, Austin and Houston. Perkins+Will moved into the renovated Dallas High School building last year.   Continue reading...
