Dallas-Fort Worth Drops to Near-record Lows — But 70s Are on the Horizon

North Texas may have started the week with the coldest weather of the year, but an end to the chill is close. At DFW International Airport, the temperature dipped to 21 degrees just before 6 a.m., the lowest temperature of the year, according to Patricia Sanchez, a National Weather Service meteorologist.
