Dallas-Fort Worth Could Feel Like 111 Degrees Wednesday Afternoon, Then a Cold Front Could Bring Storms

Don’t get too excited about a cold front expected to move through North Texas Wednesday.Temperatures are expected to rise into the upper-90s in Dallas-Fort Worth, but with the heat index, it will feel more like 111 degrees, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5) meteorologist Grant Johnston.Shortly before 1 p.m., the temperature at DFW International Airport had risen to 95 degrees, with a heat index of 107.North Texas is under a heat advisory through 8 p.m. Wednesday night.
