Dallas Fireman Injured After Falling Several Feet From Ladder at House Fire

A Dallas fireman was hospitalized late Sunday after falling off a ladder at a house fire in the Love Field area.The firefighter was part of a Dallas-Fire Rescue crew that was sent to the 2600 block of Prosper Street about 11:15 p.m. to extinguish a house fire.A ladder slid out from under the firefighter, causing him to fall six to eight feet, as he and others were trying climb the roof. He was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital.The cause of the fire was still under investigation.  Continue reading...
