Dallas Ethics Panel Recommends Reprimand for Kingston After He Filmed Ad in Council Office

An ethics panel unanimously ruled Friday that Dallas City Council member Philip Kingston violated the city's ethics rules when he filmed a campaign ad in his City Hall office.The city's five-member Ethics Advisory Commission recommended a relatively light punishment: a letter of reprimand, which amounts to an official slap on the wrist.
