Dallas-based Maggiano's Apologizes After Alt-right Group Gave Nazi Salute at D.C. Restaurant

A Washington D.C. location of Dallas-based Maggiano's Little Italy has apologized after it "inadvertently" hosted a white nationalist group and diners performed a Nazi salute there. The restaurant's Friendship Heights location posted an apology on its Facebook page Monday. The statement said the booking was last minute and made under a different name and "therefore we were not aware that [National Policy Institute] was dining with us or what the group represents."The National Policy Institute is an alt-right group whose director and president envisions a white ethno-state utopia, devoid of black people, Muslims, Jews, Asians or anyone else without a common European heritage and culture.  Continue reading...
