Dallas Assistant Police Chief Put on Administrative Leave After Domestic Incident

A Dallas police assistant chief has been placed on administrative leave following a domestic disturbance at her home this week. Assistant Chief Christina Smith will remain on leave until the incident is investigated, department officials announced Thursday. WFAA-TV (Channel 8) reported Wednesday that a neighbor witnessed a commotion involving Smith and her boyfriend. The news station did not identify the neighbor.
