Cyclist Dies After He Was Reportedly Hit by Train in Denton

A cyclist died Monday night after he was reported to have been struck by a train, Denton police say. A 911 caller reported that a bicyclist had been hit by a train about 7:15 p.m. in the 2300 block of Brinker Road, near South Interstate 35 and Colorado Boulevard, police said. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he died. His identity has not been released.
