Commercial property services firm JLL is setting up a new North Texas operation in Plano.The company has rented space in the $3 billion Legacy West development where it will have a satellite office with about a dozen people."It makes sense for us to be where are clients are," JLL senior vice president Torrey Littlejohn said in a statement. "This provides us an office solution with a collaborative environment and great energy, two things we are accustomed to at JLL. We're excited to start working with clients from our newest location."JLL is subleasing the office space in WeWork's coworking center in the Legacy West Urban Village at the northwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Legacy Drive.The company has its south central U.S. regional office in North Dallas in Preston Center.During the last decade of the major commercial real estate firms have relocated their Dallas-area offices to Uptown and downtown.The Legacy West development and surrounding area is one of the country's fastest growing employment centers with offices for Toyota, Liberty Mutual Insurance, JPMorgan Chase, NTT Data, FedEx Office and Fannie Mae.Shared office provider WeWork is one of the largest tenants in the Legacy West Urban Village.
