Collin County 5-year-old Ends Up at Stranger's Home After First-day-of-school Mix-up

A 5-year-old girl ended up at a stranger's house on the first day of school Monday in Anna after a mix-up.Fabiola Rincon said she told Sue Evelyn Rattan Elementary School that she would be picking up her daughter, but the girl was sent instead with a group of students who walk home, KDFW-TV (Channel 4) reported. When Rincon arrived for pick up, her daughter Alexa wasn't there."I'm thinking this community is huge," Rincon told the station. "She could be anywhere at this point."Rincon said she's grateful that a PTA mother saw the girl crying and took her into her home in a nearby subdivision, but said the mistake should never have happened. She said the school also gave her the address for where her daughter was instead of picking Alexa up."I said, 'Are you kidding me? You know there are offenders around here.
