Cold Front Headed for Dallas-Fort Worth Will Bring Below-average Highs, Some Showers

A midsummer surprise is on its way to Dallas-Fort Worth — but it will be a mild surprise.A cold front that's expected to move through North Texas by Monday afternoon will bring lower-than-average temperatures for late July, KXAS-TV (NBC5) meteorologist Grant Johnston said. “It’s still going to be hot, so don’t be misled,” Johnston said, adding that Monday’s high temperatures are expected to top out in the mid-90s.North Texans won’t immediately feel the effects of the cold front.“Since it is July, it’s going to be a slow, gradual cooldown,” Johnston said. “In fact, we won’t really feel it until late [Monday] into Tuesday.”   Continue reading...
