Chip and Joanna Gaines Have Big Expansion Plans for Their Silos District

Been there, done that? Well, Chip and Joanna Gaines have cooked up more reasons to get you back to Central Texas. The Gaineses have a plan to expand their Magnolia Market at the Silos development in downtown Waco soon -- by year-end. The couple plans a $10.4 million expansion that will take in additional blocks and add a Magnolia Home Furniture store, coffee shop, move an empty historic church to the property to be used for events, whiffle ball field, more shops and gardens.Waco's downtown Tax Increment Financing Zone board is meeting Thursday to consider giving the plan $1.1 million in funds for public improvements related to the project, the Waco Tribune reported.  Continue reading...
