Child Gets Away From Kidnapper Who Snatched Him From Mother in Dallas

Police are investigating after a child escaped a kidnapping attempt Wednesday in Far East Dallas, officials said.The attempted abduction happened about 12:30 a.m. in the 11000 block of Woodmeadow Parkway, police said. The boy's mother told officers she was with her child when a stranger grabbed him and took off running. Police did not say how old the boy was.The child was able to escape and ran back to his mother, police said. The suspect fled before officers arrived on the scene. A detailed description of the kidnapper was not released.Dallas Fire-Rescue treated the child for minor injuries to his hand and wrist from the suspect's grasp.  Continue reading...
