Charter Bus Carrying Houston High School Students Crashes in Alabama

Several students from the Houston area were injured -- some seriously -- when a bus returning from a trip to Walt Disney World on Tuesday morning flipped on Interstate 10 and landed in a ravine in Alabama.As many as 45 people suffered various injuries with up to 20 seriously injured, KHOU-TV in Houston reported.Multiple medical helicopters responded to the crash that occurred around 6 a.m. east of Mobile, the television station reported. The bus was carrying at least 52 people, according to KPRC-TV.Witnesses said the bus was transporting students and chaperones from Channelview, just east of Houston, KHOU reported.
