Cedar Hill Man Killed When Dallas Sanitation Truck Flips, Rolls Over Him

A Cedar Hill man driving a city of Dallas sanitation truck was killed Monday when he lost control on South Central Expressway, was ejected and his truck rolled over on him, Dallas police said.Lawrence Marks, 60, died at Parkland Memorial Hospital after the crash occurred just before 7 p.m. in the 7600 block of southbound South Central Expressway in east Oak Cliff, police said.According to police, Marks broke hard and veered to the right, which caused the truck to spin out, then drive backwards into a grass ditch. The sanitation truck then continued on the grass and ended up flipping over. Marks was ejected from the driver's side and the truck rolled over him onto its top, police said.  Continue reading...
