‘Catastrophically Harmful' GOP Property Tax Bill Will Hurt Dallas Police and Libraries, Mayor Says

AUSTIN -- Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings said if the Legislature passes a bill to limit local property tax growth, the city will not be able to hire the 100 new police officers it's been trying to recruit.
