Boyfriend Arrested in Death of 36-year-old Fort Worth Woman

A 36-year-old man faces a murder charge in the shooting death of his girlfriend last week in Fort Worth.Jarvis Franklin is in the Tarrant County Jail after he was arrested Thursday morning, Fort Worth police said. He is suspected in the death of 36-year-old Karen Finney, who was killed Jan. 18 at her home in the 6000 block of McKaskle Drive west of Interstate 820.No bond had been set.Family members said the suspect refused to leave when the victim tried to kick him out of her home, where he had lived from time to time, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.  Continue reading...
