Body of Woman, 20, Found in Vehicle Submerged Off Little Elm Park After Domestic Disturbance

The body of a 20-year-old woman who threatened to harm herself was recovered Tuesday morning from a submerged vehicle in a lake at Little Elm Park, police said.Officers were called to a home on Appaloosa Court about 2:20 a.m. where the woman, a Kentucky resident, was involved in a domestic disturbance with her ex-boyfriend, a resident of Little Elm.By the time officers arrived, the woman had left.Police say the woman called her parents in Kentucky threatening to harm herself. The parents then contacted police to alert them about the threat.Officers searched for the woman throughout the day, working with information from the ex-boyfriend and the woman's parents.Using triangulation technology, police determined that the woman's cell phone was in the vicinity of the park boat ramp.  Continue reading...
