Body Found May Be Former Grapevine Pastor Who Went Missing in Search of Buried Treasure

A body believed to be a former Grapevine youth pastor has been found in northern New Mexico after he disappeared searching for a famous buried treasure, police report. Paris Wallace, who served as youth pastor at Fellowship Church in Grapevine before moving to Colorado, was reported missing last week by his wife, police said.Wallace was searching for $2 million in loot supposedly hidden by Forrest Fenn, a Santa Fe author.Fenn alluded to the treasure in a poem from his memoir, "The Thrill of the Chase." The poem reads: If you've been wise and found the blaze, Look quickly down, your quest to cease,But tarry scant with marvel gaze,Just take the chest and go in peace.Last year, another Colorado man died searching for the treasure.
