Body Found Floating in Trinity River in Downtown Fort Worth

A man's body was found floating Wednesday afternoon in the Trinity River in downtown Fort Worth, police said. Someone called police about 1 p.m. after seeing the body near the river bank in the 400 block of North Taylor Street, behind Tarrant County College's Trinity River Campus.The body was that of a white man between 40 and 50 years old who is thought to be homeless, police said.The man, whose identity has not been released, had on a hospital bracelet and hospital pants.
