Body Found Floating Along River Walk in San Antonio

A body was found floating in the water along San Antonio's popular River Walk Sunday afternoon, according to San Antonio policePolice responded to the scene around 3:30 p.m. in the 700 block of East Riverwalk Street after receiving reports of a body, the San Antonio Express-News reports.A boat driver smelled an odor and saw a body with a hooded sweatshirt in the water, police said, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5). The person has not been identified and the cause of death is unknown.Another body was also discovered Sunday in downtown San Antonio, according to the Express-News. A homeless woman was found deceased earlier in the morning close to an apartment complex near the River Walk. Police said the woman had been violently attacked.   Continue reading...
