After years of growing buzz , The Highlands School in Irving finally had to call in the bee wrangler.On Wednesday, Richard Siegrist of the American Honey Bee Protection Agency removed "tens of thousands" of bees that had been making themselves at home near the school's chapel, KXAS-TV (NBC5) reported."I've heard they've been there about five or six years," school employee Janet Thrash told the station.
