Beauty Products Maker Naturich Labs Plans Move to Larger Richardson Location

A growing beauty products company plans to build a new 100,000 square foot headquarters on an undeveloped 9-acre site in Richardson.Naturich Labs Inc., now located in Garland, said it expects to relocate by late 2020 to the site at the southwest corner of Research Drive and Telecom Parkway. The new facility will include a warehouse, office space and manufacturing operations.A separate 50,000 square foot building also is planned for the site.Naturich specializes in personal care and cosmetic products made from organic and natural materials, said its president and founder Prakash Purohit. He's a former senior vice president of research and development for Aveda Corp., where he developed more than 400 products. Purohit and his wife, Richa, founded the company in 2001. The contract manufacturer for salons and spas has since outgrown its 75,000 square foot facility in Garland.The company employs up to 125 workers and the added space in Richardson will allow it to create 50 new jobs, Purohit said.  Continue reading...
