Baby, 2-year-old in Backseat of Car Involved in Police Chase From Grand Prairie to Dallas

A driver was arrested after leading Grand Prairie police on a chase for about half an hour with two young children in the vehicle early Friday morning.An officer tried to make a traffic stop at Belt Line Road and Interstate 20, but the suspect didn’t pull over the Chrysler 300, KDFW-TV (Channel 4) reported.After about 30 minutes, the suspect stopped the car at the Churchill at Pinnacle Point apartments on N. Cockrell Hill Road and fled on foot.Backup officers who were in a police helicopter landed the aircraft in the parking lot to help the lone officer.
