Austin Police Kill Man Suspected of Firing at Officers, Injuring 2

Two Austin police officers were reportedly injured late Sunday after a man opened fire on them as they responded to an "unknown urgent" call at a duplex.Police killed the suspected gunman outside the southeast Austin home, the Austin Statesman reported.Someone called 911 about 10:50 p.m. and asked for police and disconnected the line, interim Austin police Chief Brian Manley told The Statesman.  Continue reading...
