W. Arnold Martin had a seemingly insatiable drive to help others.He was a leader in a potpourri of organizations in Irving, with the cause of education ranking first among equals. His career as an executive with an Irving heavy equipment distributor allowed him to participate in some of the region's landmark projects.Martin, 84, died Wednesday of natural causes at his Irving home.A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Plymouth Park Baptist Church, 1714 N.
