Arlington Soldier, 22, Killed in anti-ISIS Operation in Iraq

An Arlington soldier was one of two American paratroopers killed Sunday in a combat operation in northern Iraq, the U.S. Department of Defense said. Spc. Allen Levi Stigler Jr., of Arlington, and Sgt. Roshain Euvince Brooks, of Brooklyn, were killed supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, an operation aimed at defeating ISIS. Five others were injured, officials said. Initial reports are that the deadly incident was not due to enemy contact.
